The numerous beaches on the island of Naxos are famous for their beauty. Some of the beaches on Naxos are considered the best in Greece. Most Naxos beaches are sandy and just a few are pebbly. Many of them stretch far along the coast, offering both crowded and secluded places, while some beaches also have quaint coves.

ABRAM BEACH, NORTHERN NAXOS
Abram Beach is an isolated shingle beach with clear waters on the northwest side of Naxos. It is accessible by car, motorbike or on foot. Near the beach there is a taverna and a few hotels, rooms for rent, apartments and studios.

AGIA ANNA BEACH, WESTERN NAXOS
Agia Anna Beach is one of the most frequented beaches on Naxos, located on the western side of the island, close to Naxos Town. It is long and sandy with cedar trees, and offers a variety of sunbathing facilities. Agia Anna Beach is one of the more crowded beaches and has many tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as an abundance of hotels, rooms for rent, apartments and studios. It can be easily accessed by car, bus or on foot and is at close proximity to the beaches of Agios Prokopios and Plaka.

AGIASSOS BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
Agiassos Beach is situated on the southwest side of Naxos, relatively isolated from other beaches and towns, although it is easily accessible by car and motorbike. It is a sheltered bay with sand and shallow waters. Visitors can find some tavernas and cafes, as well as hotels, apartments, rooms for rent and studios.

AGIOS GEORGIOS BEACH, WESTERN NAXOS
Agios Georgios Beach (St. George), is located in Naxos Town, on the western side of the island. It is a very popular, organized beach that is partly sheltered, sandy and with shallow waters and water sports facilities. The beach is easily accessible on foot or by car, motorbike or bus from other towns and beaches. There are many tavernas, restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs in the area, as well as hotels, rooms for rent, apartments and studios.

AGIOS PROKOPIOS, WESTERN NAXOS
Agios Prokopios Beach is one of the most frequented Naxos beaches, located on the western side of the island, close to Naxos Town. It is long, sandy and sheltered by wind and offers a variety of organized facilities. At Agios Prokopios there are many hotels, apartments, rooms for rent and studios, as well as an abundance of tavernas, cafes and bars by the beach. It is easily accessed by car, motorbike, bus and on foot and is situated close to the beaches of Agia Anna and Stelida.

ALYKO BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
Towards the southwest of Naxos is the beautiful sandy beach of Alyko lined with cedar trees. It is isolated and non-organized but does provide a few tavernas, hotels and rooms for rent. Alyko Beach can be accessed by car or motorbike.

AMITIS BEACH, NORTHERN NAXOS
In the north of Naxos is the long beach of Amitis, which is relatively isolated and ideal for those who seek a quiet beach for swimming and sunbathing, however it is not one of the organized beaches of Naxos. There are a few hotels and rooms for rent. The beach can be easily accessed.

APOLLONAS BEACH, NORTHEASTERN NAXOS
Apollonas Beach in the northeastern side of Naxos is a lovely sand and pebble beach, with beautiful waters and small coves. It offers a few hotels, rooms to rent and several tavernas, restaurants and cafes. Visitors will find it easy to reach the beach.

KASTRAKI BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
Kastraki is a long, white sandy beach with clear waters on the southwestern side of Naxos. Its length makes it ideal for all types of visitors, as it offers both crowded and quiet areas. Kastraki Beach is very popular with nudists and is easily accessible from the main road. The area offers a variety of hotels, apartments, rooms for rent and studios. For your dining pleasure, there are also several tavernas, restaurants and cafes.

KALANDOS BEACH, SOUTHEASTERN NAXOS
Kalandos Beach is situated on the southeastern tip of Naxos Island and is a quiet beach with pristine waters. There are no facilities in the area, while the beach is sheltered by the wind. It can be accessed by boat or by vehicles that can travel on rough roads.

LIONAS BEACH, NORTHEASTERN NAXOS
The pebble beach of Lionas is located on the northeastern side of Naxos. It is a small and quiet beach, although not organized. There is a good road leading to the beach from other towns and beaches. The area has some tavernas, cafes and restaurants, as well as hotels and rooms for rent.

MIKRI VIGLA BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
Mikri Vigla is another popular beach in the southwest of Naxos that offers both crowded and quiet places. It is sandy and has azure colored waters. Mikri Vigla Beach is a favourite of windsurfers and provides a variety of water sport facilities. It is easily accessible and has tavernas, hotels and rooms for rent.

MOUTSOUNA BEACH, EASTERN NAXOS
On the eastern side of Naxos is Moutsouna Beach, with its very picturesque sandy coves that make it ideal for those who prefer quiet and secluded beaches. There are several hotels, studios, apartments and rooms for rent, as well as tavernas and cafes. The road that leads to the beach offers easy access by car or motorbike.

ORKOS BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
Orkos is a sand and pebble beach, lined with cedar trees, located on the southwestern side of Naxos. It is secluded and quiet and is one of the beaches preferred by windsurfers. Orkos Beach offers some hotels and rooms to rent and is accessible by car.

PANORMOS BEACH, SOUTHEASTERN NAXOS
Panormos is a sandy, well-sheltered beach on the southeastern side of Naxos Island. It cannot be accessed easily and therefore is never crowded, offering a quiet and peaceful area for swimming and sunbathing.

PLAKA BEACH, WESTERN NAXOS
Plaka Beach, famous for its fine white sands, is located on the western side of Naxos, in a bay area. It is much-frequented and has several tavernas, bars, cafes, hotels, rooms for rent and apartments. Nudism is permitted on Plaka Beach and it is easily accessible on foot from other beaches in the areas.

PSILI AMMOS BEACH, SOUTHEASTERN NAXOS
The relatively quiet beach of Psili Ammos is situated on the southeastern side of Naxos. It is sandy, with cedar trees and can be accessed via Moutsouna Beach. Psili Ammos is one of the beaches preferred by those seeking quiet and seclusion.

PYRGAKI BEACH, SOUTHWESTERN NAXOS
On the southwestern side of Naxos is Pyrgaki Beach, which is a quiet, non-organized beach, with sand and cedar trees. The area provides a few taverns and restaurants, as well as several hotels, rooms for rent and apartments.

STELIDA BEACH, WESTERN NAXOS
Stelida Beach is located on the western side of Naxos at close proximity to Naxos Town. It is sandy and located on a bay, providing ample shelter. The stretch of beach from Stelida to Agia Anna is a holidaymakers paradise, with several hotels, studios, apartments, rooms for rent, tavernas and cafes.
