Near the capital are several stunning sandy beaches where visitors can spend hours relaxing and swimming in the shimmering blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

To truly experience the Parikia Town, visitors can wander through the quaint streets, buy knick-knacks at the small shops, have a delicious meal at a traditional taverna by the sea and go partying at night at one of the many clubs and bars in town.

In Parikia, visitors can find a wide selection of hotel accommodations, ranging from budget hotels, pensions, rooms for rent and camping sites to luxury hotels, studios, suites and traditional houses. The settlement of Naoussa, located in a bay area on the northern side of Paros, is considered one of the most picturesque towns in the Cyclades, as it offers a spectacular view of the Venetian Castle ruins, the charming fishing port with small colorful boats and the sea. Some of the finest beaches on Paros Island are located in Naoussa and the surrounding area, including the renowned beaches of Kolimbithres, Monastiri, Lageri and Santa Maria. While staying in Naoussa, a visit to the Venetian castle, the small Church of Agios Nikolaos, the Monastery of Agios Athanasios and its Museum, and the Mycenaean Acropolis near Kolimbithres Beach is a must.
