You can get to Zakynthos Greece by airplane from the Athens Airport (2 flights a day, 1 hour trip) and several other European airports. You can take a ferry to Zakynthos from Kyllini Port, which is located on the western coast of the Peloponnese (1 hour trip, 5 to 10 departures a day). Ferries to Zakynthos Greece also depart from Italy, three times a week. You can reach the island by bus (KTEL) that goes to Kyllini Port and from there by ferry boat to Zakynthos.

Zakynthos has a well-organized road network expands across the island. There are hospitals and banks in Zakynthos Town and in the popular holiday resorts.
